Link Building Programs

Link building programs are all the rage now a days. It seems that the IMer’s love of building backlinks and its apparent importance to a webpage’s standing in the serps isn’t waning anytime soon. Much has been said about how the search engines, especially google, rely on the number and quality of backlinks to determine where to show a particular webpage in the search results. This had led to a slew of link building programs to flood the marketplace. All claiming page 1 and sometimes position 1 in google.

It would be cool to have a list of all of the link-building programs at your fingertips that you could constantly refer to to propel any page up the serps. But the list becomes less necessary when you come across one program, one plan that is most effective and makes a lot of the other link building programs, obsolete.

Post Panda Update : The majority of my non IM sites have 100% quality original content. I pay a premium and have my content creation outsourced to fantastic writers. Google’s Panda update did not disturb any of those sites, I’m guessing due to the content.

You may have noticed I wrote “the majority of my non im sites…”. That’s because I have a few where the content is … weaker. A lot weaker. Yet these sites were also undisturbed.  The only difference is that I implemented this battleplan on the weaker sites. I started to use these sites as a case study for Backlink Battleplan but I allowed it to get derailed by something more important.

The take away is what’s important. This battleplan may have been responsible for my weaker sites maintaining their rankings. Maybe it was a coincidence. I don’t think so.
